Direct voter-to-voter contact is the most powerful tactic we have to influence the November 3 election.
Here are the ways we recommend to get started with textbanking or phonebanking, or to get back into it if it's been a while.
Indivisible Yolo and Sister District CA-3 provide training for new and returning texters on most Saturdays from 12-2 pm. It's all done virtually via Zoom. They're a friendly bunch and they'll help you get the hang of it even if you've never texted to voters before. A number of Indivisible Colusa volunteers have already taken this training and have texted to thousands of voters in battleground western states.
Go to Indivisible Yolo's Events Calendar, find the Saturday training session you're interested in and sign up.
Indivisible Colusa is part of Flip the West's Flip Force. We're a coalition of progressive groups whose volunteers are working to Flip the Senate in battleground western states.
Flip the West offers multiple phonebank training sessions every week on Zoom. They have sessions for novices and for those who are more experienced but want a refresher. Once you're trained, they have nearly daily opportunities for you to make calls to voters.

Want to get involved with getting out the vote effort but not sure where to start? Indivisible Colusa offers informal information sessions on Zoom every Monday at 6:00 pm PT (starting Monday, August 11). We'll tell you about our work, walk you through volunteer opportunities, and answer your questions. We look forward to meeting you!
No sign up needed. Click on this Zoom link to join on Mondays at 6 pm: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/5365085716
And if you've never used Zoom before, we can help you with that too! Email us (firstname.lastname@example.org) and we'll have one of our volunteers call you and help you get Zoom set up on your computer or smart phone.
