Our main meetings feature conversations with local community leaders. These are small gatherings designed to foster friendly, informal discussions about issues and priorities in our county.

Monday, May 6  with special guest Ed Conrado. Are hate crimes on the rise in California and the U.S.? What are hate crimes and what can we do to prevent them? Join us for a conversation with Colusa County resident Ed Conrado, who is a member of the U.S. Attorney's Hate Crime Task Force for California's Eastern District. Ed is also a Trustee of the Colusa County Board of Education and a former school principal in Colusa. Location: Conrado residence, 836 Parkhill St., Colusa. Time: Potluck snacks and social at 6:00, meeting starts at 6:30.


Monday,  June 3  for our June meeting, we'll be pausing our monthly Conversations with Community Leaders series and instead rolling up our sleeves to work on our path to electoral victories in 2020. Come give us a hand! Location: TBA. Time: Potluck snacks and social at 6:00, meeting starts at 6:30. 


Monday,  July 8  Colusa County's delegates to the California Democratic Party will be leading a discussion about the recent statewide convention and the direction of the party as we gear up for the 2020 elections. Location: TBA. Time: Potluck snacks and social at 6:00, meeting starts at 6:30.


Monday,  August 5  with special guest  Autumn Gonzalez, an activist with NorCal Resist. NorCal Resist is a Sacramento-based group of volunteers that makes a positive difference by helping protect the legal rights of immigrants and asylum seekers in Northern California and on both sides of the border. Join us for a conversation with Autumn Gonzalez about her experience as a NorCal Resist activist and how we can stand up for the rights of immigrants and asylum seekers. Location: TBA. Time: Potluck snacks and social at 6:00, meeting starts at 6:30.

Join us for our weekly coffee meetup. We write postcards to voters to support progressive candidates, offer help, resources and connections for our activism activities, and share ideas for promoting a healthier democracy.

Come on out for coffee and conversation with Indivisible Colusa members. There’s no set agenda - we can share what’s going on in the Indivisible movement, talk politics, or just enjoy chatting with other progressive-leaning locals.
