Indivisible Colusa County is part of a nationwide grassroots movement of thousands of local Indivisible groups representing more than a million volunteer activists. We are not affiliated with a political party. We are open to all people dedicated to inclusion, tolerance, fairness and creating a real democracy — of, by and for the people.
We promote progressive policies by facilitating active participation in our democratic processes. Our core advocacy issues are democracy reform, health care, immigration,
economic justice and climate, with a connecting thread of racial justice through all of them.
Working together, our volunteer activists build and wield constituent power in ways that individuals can't.
Our volunteers register voters, text, call, write postcards and knock on doors to get out the vote, and share information about issues that matter in our community.
Colusa County is solidly purple - 32% of its registered voters are Democrats and 41% are Republicans. Indivisible Colusa volunteers work to make sure our local, state and federal elected officials hear the voices of the county's Democrats and progressives.
Our volunteers take action to hold our elected representatives accountable for supporting policies that make our county and country better for everyone, like universal healthcare and protecting and expanding voting rights.
